This presentation explores the potential use of climate vulnerability and risk assessment (VRA) as a tool for resilience planning in cities. The rationale is that the VRA could function in evaluating the impact of development programs in changing vulnerability levels. The VRA could assist multi-level stakeholders in decision making processes identifying and prioritizing climate change adaptation programs and activities. With its cross-cutting \ nature, the CRA can complement development monitoring and evaluation toolsand assist stakeholders in ensuring synergy and conformity of cross-level climate resilience strategies and/or action plans.
