Position: Senior Consultant Climate Policy and Finance
Duty Station: Jakarta or Bangkok

Experience Requirements:

• A Master degree, ideally in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Public Policy, Finance, Economics or related disciplines;
• At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in high quality consultancy for public sector clients, particularly in sustainable development and climate change advisory;
• Demonstrable track record developing climate change mitigation projects, programs or instruments across sectors and technologies, especially in Southeast Asian countries;
• Experience in managing small teams, ideally within an international and multicultural context;
• Proven know-how and network in climate policy and sustainable development, especially in Southeast Asia;
• Existing network with governments, international finance institutions (IFIs), development agencies and other public or private donors/stakeholders, with a particular focus on Southeast Asia;
• Commercial skills and good business sense, to be able to identify and seize opportunities in a challenging and competitive market environment would be an asset;
• Excellent oral and written command of English is essential and professional proficiency in an Asian language, Spanish, French, German or other languages is desirable;
• Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential and proficiency in further data or modelling software is of advantage Indonesian/Thai nationality or holder of a valid work permit is a must.
